HISTORY

In 1954 Tubbs Brothers, Inc. was founded by Donald and Cecil Tubbs. Located in
Sandusky, MI on the corner of West Sanilac and Austin streets, they sold Chrysler,
Plymouth and Gulf gasoline. In 1960 they acquired a Dodge franchise. Sales in the
beginning were approximately $350,000.00 per year and soon their slogan was,
"Right on the corner...Right on the price".

In 1970 the Tubbs Brothers acquired a Ford and Mercury franchise as well. Soon they
found themselves out of space in the downtown facility and in 1976 began construction
on their current facility located two miles west of Sandusky.

In 1984, Cecil Tubbs, who had been a driving force in the service and sales department
retired. As growth continued at the new location, the company expanded the body shop
in 1990 and built a separate used vehicle facility in 1995.

In response to the needs of customers and new technologies, a state-of-the-art collision
center was built and fully outfitted in 1996. The old body shop has been renovated again
into an automotive appearance and detailing center.

In 2003 a million dollar renovation to the main facility was completed in which the entire
building was modernized with a drive-in service write-up area, a Quick Lube Center and
expanded and modernized service areas.

TODAY

Tubbs Brothers continues to be the Blue Water Area leader for cars and trucks, selling
over 80 vehicles per month and servicing over 800 vehicles per month. Tubbs Brothers
is committed to continuous improvement and has ongoing training of service and sales
personnel. In addition, Tubbs Brothers has earned the coveted Chrysler Five Star, Ford
Blue Oval and Mercury Advantage awards, which are symbols of commitment to
excellence. Modern equipment and facilities, excellent personnel and great deals
on cars and trucks all contribute to their current motto, "You'll feel good about doing
business with us!".

Tubbs Brothers is going Green with energy alternatives.

Going Green Saves Green.

With rising energy prices squeezing profits, Tubbs Brothers in Sandusky, went looking for alternatives. What we found were old and new ways to save money and the environment and the potential savings could be huge! Industrial use accounts for about a third of the energy consumed in the US, this according to Energy Department estimates. Here is what Tubbs Brothers does to save money and the environment for future generations.

Power Management & Conservation-

· Installed sensor lights in restrooms. If they are not in use the lights are off. In addition ANY lights not necessary to productivity are turned off.

· Programmable thermostats automatically turn temperatures down when the dealership is closed and back up during working hours.

· Old, inefficient lighting has been replaced by high efficiency lights that use 30% less power.

· Installing solar panels is by far our largest step toward being "greener". Ninety nine panels will be installed. Each panel generated 200 watts of clean energy. At peak capacity similar units have produced a monthly savings of $740.00 while reducing the burning of coal and natural gas. DTE rebates $2.40 per kwh installed. The Federal Government also provides a Renewable Energy Credit of 30% of the cost of panel installation. Solar panels are clean, renewable energy. They are "Green", profitable and a cost saving option! Printing & Recycling-

From big to small Tubbs Brothers is dedicated to the three R's: Reduce, Reuse, And Recycle.

· All of the waste oil from our quick lube and service department is reused to heat the entire dealership.

· Waste metals are recycled, keeping it out of our landfills.

· Plastics from wrecked vehicles and unusable tires are recycled to make, running tracks and playground cover.

· Excess paint and paint thinner is then recycled to make new lacquer thinner.

· Used Coolant is recycled to make new coolant.

· Cardboard is recycled.

· Toner cartridges are refurbished or recycled in an environmentally friendly way with some of the profits going to the Humane Society of Carsonville, MI.

· The backsides of old printed materials are used for notes and scratch pads.

· Air Conditioning refrigerants are recaptured and recycled to save our customers money and save the environment.
